CONTROLS SYSTEMS ENGINEER - LEADING EPC CONTRACTOR - INDONESIA
Our client a leading EPC contractor along with its joint venture partners will execute and construct a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility consisting of three 5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) LNG trains, gas processing and treatment facilities, product storage and offloading, complete offsites, utilities and accommodations. The EPCM contract also includes a 300TJ/d domestic gas plant. The design of the facility features improvements in greenhouse gas emissions performance including improved waste heat recovery and the provision of facilities for the injection of reservoir carbon dioxide deep into the subsurface. The EPCM effort is a modular construction strategy to minimize impact during the construction phase and is being conducted from two main operating centers located in Perth, Australia and London, UK with support from global centers in USA, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. Our client requires talented individuals from the above named disciplines which include both engineers and designers to put in practice their skills and experience on this exciting multibillion dollar project. All interested and suitable candidates should be in a position to start work in Jakarta, Indonesia from Jan 2010 onwards.

SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Discuss projects with project team and clients to review functions of equipment and systems. Interface with project team and clients regularly to resolve technical issues, ensure expectations are met.
• Work with designers and drafting personnel to develop control panel layouts and electrical schematics. May be required to do drafting personally when others are not available.
• Provide quality assessments of work performed by others.
• Mentor and give guidance to individuals within the organization for the purpose of transferring experience and “how to “knowledge to other employees.
• Work with Project Engineer to help determine and develop strategies to retain and improve business with key customers.
• Ensure that all paperwork such as time sheet are completed on time and accurately
• Experience with internal quality systems that incorporate workflow procedures, engineering standards, and design baselines desired. Candidates must be able to achieve results on complex engineering projects within the constraints of cost, schedule, and quality while working within the requirements of our workflow and quality processes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Mechanical Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Must possess excellent command of the English language in both written and spoken form.
