BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION HEAD – ORGANISATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS - KUALA LUMPUR
A leading financial institution in Malaysia is embarking upon their strategic transformation plan, a program management team has been set up to manage this transition and they seek a seasoned and experienced executive to lead the execution of the process.

SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The incumbent will lead and be accountable for the Business Transformation process, Change Management across the institution and will also lead the Human Performance sub-teams to shape and support the program.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:

• Understand the context of change, and define the requirements to manage a successful change program. This includes leadership and governance, and stakeholders’ acceptance and communications, and performance support
• Prepare organizational assessment materials to assess capacity to change, leadership capability, training and performance support capabilities, and other elements affecting the organization’s ability to effectively manage a change program.
• Provide guidance in the development of orientation, training, performance support, and communication assets necessary for the change and leadership initiatives.
• Manage progress of all Change Management sub-teams to ensure objectives are delivered on time and within budget. Understand and meet the expectations of Division Heads.
• Review and recommend resolutions/actions to project matters such as contingency plans, scope changes and issues.
• Serve as the point of contact for the Division Head and Change Management sub-teams.
• Serve as a strong bridge between Team Leads and the various other Team Leads in Technology/Systems and Change Management.
• Advise Stream Heads and Program Manager on a variety of personnel and human resource issues, as well as hands-on management of the function.
• Together with the Program Manager and Division Heads, analyze and identify skills gaps in the program/project teams.
• Make recommendations as to whether these skill gaps should be filled by development and training of existing staff or by external recruitment
• Coordinate activities with other Program Heads/Leads (Technology/Systems, Change Management, SCO).
• Contain and resolve issues within and between the business process sub-teams that do not require Stream Head or Program Manager’s attention. Escalate issues to next level- Division Head - as and when necessary.
• Monitor and manage project risks and develop appropriate mitigation actions.
• Monitor and manage sub-teams morale and productivity.
