Our client requires an experienced and senior relationship banker to originate significant Corporate Finance Advisory and other (mainly Commodity related) mandates from the Indonesian market. This individual will have an existing network of client relationships in Indonesia and the appetite to drive the business in an extremely competitive market.
This individual will have responsibility and accountability for business development and client coverage and should be capable of developing an in-depth understanding of client’s business, strategies and banking needs in order to position the bank to provide relevant solutions to the client in a timely manner with an objective of maximising overall revenues and profit.
Work with counterparts in other countries and with sector and product experts when and where appropriate to ensure timely dissemination of information and to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
Is the primary point of contact with commercial banking clients in Indonesia, serving their commercial banking needs.
Coordinate activities of Local Account Managers in other countries and regions to ensure a consistent level of service is provided to our clients worldwide.
Be the local expert on all matters relating to the Indonesian market, including market and regulatory developments internally.
Establish and strengthen market presence and enhance the banks profile through effective internal and external communication.
Seek to introduce other business units to your corporate clients where possible.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:-
Experienced, qualified banker, capable of engaging in fully independent activities including origination, structuring and execution of complex transactions
Min. 7 years’ relevant banking experience in an international banking institution with successful track record
Client focused
Superior client relationship, marketing presentation and sales skills in addition to extensive knowledge of products and markets
Excellent team player and one who exhibits a high level of motivation and drive
High computer literacy
Good analytical capabilities, presentation and organizational skills
Excellent written and spoken English
