1. Work as head of Corporate IT region Asia pacific, functional reporting line to CIO based in Europe,
in terms of administration, discipline and personnel issues reports to local MD/Head of OEM Asia in
Parallel
2. Works as functional manager of all IT personnel (Corporate IT and non-corporate IT) in Region Asia
Pacific, this includes Infrastructure, SAP, non-SAP IT Specialists and Consultants, to coordinate,
align and steer their IT work following the Corporate IT Strategy and Roadmap to support business
Operations.
3. Work as disciplinary team leader of Asia Pacific SAP consultant team
4. Familiar with SAP methodology and adopt the methodology in project, including Requirement
Gathering, Configuration, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Data Migration, Go-Live and
Production Support. Follows and deploys the global Corporate IT Project Delivery Methodology.
5. Create new strategic options, including developing strategic plans to identify IT applications and
controlling staffing, development, organization, hardware acquisitions and facilities to support the
region company’s business growth plans in close alignment with the Corporate IT Infrastructure and
application roadmaps and strategies
6. Influence and shape Corporate IT strategic IT directions and roadmaps to ensure regional needs
are accommodated
7. Work closely and proactively with all functions across the companies to understand and anticipate
their information technology needs; is responsible to deliver the agreed IT projects and services
8. Owns the overall regional project portfolio and ensures its delivery over time
9. Closely and regularly collaborates with IT management in other parts of the group to foster reuse of
IT initiatives from elsewhere and ensure timely information exchange
10. Act as the contact point for the Region IT Function with Global Corporate IT to ensure the best
quality service is delivered to support the internal deliverables of Asia Pacific
11. Train, educate and direct all IT managers and supporting staff in understanding the company’s
business process and objectives
12. Follows up on all issues reported out of the region and ensures their timely resolution either through
local, regional or central IT teams.
13. Ensures best IT application operation and efficient implementation of business processes in the
application landscape
14. Becomes an expert in business processes and business operations
15. Is responsible for IT utility SLAs and the service delivery to the business
