• The primary responsibilities of this position are to Partner with Asia Pacific functional and business leadership in the development of business strategy, quantification of assumptions and expected financial outcomes and to proactively identify problems, opportunities or issues within the businesses and initiates appropriate reviews, information gathering, analyses, recommendations and changes
• Partner with the Asia Pacific functional and business leadership in the development of business strategy, quantification of assumptions and expected financial outcomes
• Proactively identify problems, opportunities or issues within the businesses and initiates appropriate reviews, information gathering, analyses, recommendations and changes
• Support financial analysis of business decisions, including manufacturing investments, outsourcing, hiring plans, direct shipment practices and other
• Anticipates the impact of business and accounting decisions and communicates to others throughout the business
• Analyze regional accounting results, including deviations from forecast and prior years’ results. Support global divisional and corporate reporting
• Partner with global financial analysts to research and explain Asia Pacific businesses and performance results
• Partner with the global divisional financial team and local accounting teams to insure consistent, global institution of best practices and continuous improvement in financial accounting, reporting and analysis and personal contribution and development
• Lead Asia Pacific divisional budgeting and forecasting process through collecting, analyzing and reporting of regional data
• Work with the finance team to enhance internal financial controls, as needed
• Perform product line and customer profitability analysis
• Manage and perform various account analysis and reconciliations
• Assist with the internal and external audit process
• Prepare policies and procedures
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required
• Perform special projects as required
• Perform other functions normally performed by a Financial Analyst
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting Major or equivalent
• Three or more years of relevant experience
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• In dept understanding and application of US GAAP and PRC statutory accounting
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
