WELDING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
Identify the structure & key players in all regions within the segment
• Support the Area Sales Managers in the development of a sales plan for each region for the relevant segment.
• Coordinate with the relevant holding Segment manager for the transfer of technology, market data and all information relevant to the segment including supply of data from China
• Prepare all necessary data sheets, publicity materials necessary for promotion of the products in the Segment and across all areas.
• Gather accurate market information regarding the segment within all regions to include sales potential, market share and available share, growth opportunities, declining customers and markets
• Maintain regular communication with the Shanghai office for updates of data, reporting matters, management meetings
• Maintain regular communication with the area sales Managers to ensure adequate marketing and sales materials and technical support as required are available for all of the required business in the regions
• Follow all company policies in the segment
• Maintain costs for the segment against budget and collate data as required.
• Identify opportunities for key customers and projects to support the Area Sales personnel
• Coordinate across the Regional sales groups to coordinate information dissemination, consistent use of materials, common approach through each region to the segment products.
• Coordinate across the regional sales teams for common customers which operate in different regions.
Experience and Skills
• The job holder shall have English speaking, reading and writing experience to be able to communicate within the group
• Broad knowledge of the company’s range of products
• Technical qualification equivalent to a University degree or equivalent amount of experience in a related field and job function and a background in technical support.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in technical support/application for sales of welding consumables or similar products
• Ability to travel extensively within the region as required to support the3 area sales personnel to achieve the sales plan
• Good communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word
