KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
• Chemical engineering or chemistry degree is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of statistics
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Status reports on customer needs and market trends are required
• Above average observation and assessment skills
• Familiarity with quality manufacturing systems and their impact on customer service (ISO familiarity preferred.)
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with modern laboratory equipment/instrumentation
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Problem solving skills
• Customer service/sales skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry or other materials science
• 2-4 years experience in powder and flake manufacturing
• Experience in developing, managing & meeting a sales forecast with at least 2 years of related sales experience
• Experience processing or manufacturing
