Our Relationship Managers are the principle point of contact for the bank. Through proactive engagement with the SME sector, and conducting and maintaining an accurate and meaningful needs assessment they are able to effectively service their client portfolio and drive profitable volume growth (from existing and new to bank customers) across the full suite of products.
We are looking for people who are dynamic, hungry and determined to succeed in banking. This position focusing on the SME market segment and will be responsible to generate revenue to the bank through robust sales activities, managing relationships with existing customers as well as bringing in new to bank customers.
• Responsible for conducting risks evaluation pertaining to New To Bank applications.
• To achieve assets/liabilities balances growth by acquiring, growing and retaining profitable customers
• The management of SME Banking customer relationships in assigned branches, through effective consultative selling and creative structuring of financial solutions that meet customer needs within the Confines of the Banks credit policies.
• To provide high quality service and advice to customers so that they may be encouraged to Channel remunerative businesses and recommend referral businesses to the Bank.
• To help strengthen team disciplines and sustain team morale through striving for and achieving allocated individual budgets and by supporting team objectives.
• Ensure robust and consistent sales activities
• Intensify cross-border activities and business referral where appropriate
• Identify training needs for technical and personal development.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:-
• A recognized tertiary education
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with all levels
• Experience and knowledge in the SME market
• Proven track record in sales
