POSITION DESCRIPTION

Procure raw materials for the premix plant. Maintain inventory of the same to ensure continuous operations

Report to General Manager, Animal Nutrition & Health Indonesia

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Timely planning and procurement for all assigned Raw Materials/ Consumables essential to ensure uninterrupted production with safety requirements.

Updated Market knowledge is required for sustainable presence in the industry.

Management gets valuable inputs with the reporting of savings in the area through Monthly updates

Minimize the Operating Working Capital

Develop new suppliers wherever feasible and keep updated market knowledge

Effective coordination is required between the respective departments at site and the Head Office in order to ensure no gaps exist in the work processes

Sharing the requirements and awareness of ISO requirements and lead the audit at site and influence the interested parties in being compliant

Supporting the DSM CSR requirements without compromising on the cost

Control prices for the Raw Materials/Consumables as per the budget /forecast/ last order price through effective planning/forward buying etc

Effective participation and involvement in the Service contracts and other Non-Inventory spends at the site

Ensure Supply continuity to maintain uninterrupted production and avoid any premium freight payment

Minimize Inventory carrying Cost & Improve Payment Terms

Work along with user departments and contribute towards new ideas/ initiatives

Monitor closely Suppliers performance with regards to Quality, Delivery Performance and response to changes in requirements/Schedules

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Science / Commerce / Business Administration

At least 8 years of experience in purchasing / procurement

In depth knowledge in Purchasing and Supply Chain processes and trends

Working knowledge of local laws and regulatory issues

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

Ability to analyze and interpret data and trend

Knowledge of ISO

Ability to identify new vendors and conduct / arrange vendor qualifications

Experience working in multi-national environment

Knowledge in SAP/ERP modules

Knowledge and exposure to feed or food ingredients
