Job Description

Our client is one of group leading ceramics tiles manufacturer in Indonesia. They produce ceramic floor tiles and wall tiles with many ranges of tile sizes. They will build a new company for gypsum manufacturing. They will expand their business in Asia Pacific.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Immediate Supervisor: COO or Designated

Department: Commercial

Location: Base In Surabaya

Scope: Total Marketing, Sales & Distribution activities in Indonesia

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of all strategies, tasks and activities for the start-up of the business (new).

Responsible for the overall direction, strategy, planning and execution for the company’s

Marketing, Sales & Distribution operations, consistently with The Company Vision, Mission, and Strategies.

Provide leadership, direction, expertise and support for all Marketing, Sales & Distribution and related operations and activities.

Develop and implement Marketing strategies and plans to achieve targeted product positioning and awareness, together with achieving excellent customer services, sales revenue and bottom-line profit.

Develop and implement Sales & Distribution strategies and plans to achieve targeted sales volume and pricing, and market coverage and penetration.

Develop and implement logistics and distribution strategies and plans to ensure complete on-time, accurate and cost effective deliveries and distribution.

Develop and implement nationwide distribution channels, distributors, retailers, modern market outlets, outlets and depots for effective Sales and Distribution of the products.

Ensure that the Marketing, Sales & Distribution capabilities and capacities meet and/or exceed the customer requirements and expectations for product performance, innovation and pricings.

Ensure that The Marketing, Sales & Distribution is sufficiently staffed and manned, with competent, qualified, and resourceful personnel.

Work closely with the COO, and other Senior Management team on plans and strategies, product innovations, customer excellence, goals, and company’ strategic plans and implementations.

Any other job assignments as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 6 years of related experience in similar or related market environment, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial capacity.

Preferably Sales & Distribution background with excellent knowledge and applications in Marketing, in a fast moving and highly competitive Building Material Industry.

Excellent knowledge and experience in handling logistical and delivery requirements.

Minimum education level S1, preferably S2 qualified.

A People person, with the abilities to develop relationships and friendship translating to loyal and keen customers.

A team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Strong communication skills and able to interact and manage at all levels.

Hands-On personality

Good command of Indonesian and English Languages, written and spoken, with good command of spoken Mandarin Language.

Strong computer knowledge and skills

Candidate must be result oriented and driven, with the abilities to train and motivate staffs to achieve excellence and agreed goals and objectives.

Candidate must be resourceful with a Make-It-Happen mindset, sense of urgency and the ability and willingness to work hard.

Willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia, with some overseas travel.
