Job Description

Our client is a fast moving consumer group company which consists of House Hold and Personal Care divisions. In Indonesia they are a part of the house hold division, which produces carbon zinc battery.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The position is accountable for providing strategic direction to the trade marketing organization in driving the development of modern channels throughout Indonesia, managing efficiently & effectively overall deflator & promotion, and aligning marketing strategies with sales’ to optimize results. Responsible to develop both of their famous brands.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify focus-area for high-impact business results in distribution, merchandising, and sell-out.

Monitor performance of top 5 cities driving business results – distribution, and sales.

Monitor key accounts in modern channel to maintain or improve product visibility/merchandising.

Develop potential area (cities, retailers, or accounts).

Develop and drive execution of channel strategies on a product basis:

Distribution strategy for existing or new products i.e. Distribution standard/Trade standard at all channels (modern and traditional).

Merchandising / product visibility strategy i.e.

Merchandising standard for all channels.

Develop and maintain POS & Merchandising materials

Develop sales promotion plans

Develop consumer promotion plan in alignment with marketing plans.

Develop other channel promotion plans with sales team i.e. national/local account specific (modern channel), city specific with sales.

Align sales and marketing in key business projects i.e.:

Develop trade promo w/ marketing and sales to support product launch.

Drive bottom-up forecasts (distribution and volume forecast) from sales for product launch.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum S1 degree

Beneficial if have experience in Modern Trade Sales – account management skill

Minimum 3-4 years Trade Marketing experience

Coming from personal care, beverage and MNC companies will be beneficial

Good negotiation skill

Have experience in budget control
