Our Client is a global leading European producer and manufacturer of conductors, cables, wires and accessories with over 50 years of presence in the market. They have an annual turnover of over EUR 800 million and currently operating more than 15 production sites and supported by over 3000 employees. Our Client’s services entailed customized solutions, assured quality, tailored customer technical services, and flexible logistics solutions. With over 35,000 individual and customizable products, they supply companies throughout the world, especially those in the automotive industry, the chemical industry, energy technology, fields of measurement and control engineering, mechanical and plant engineering and automation technology. Due to business expansion within India, they are looking to invite a senior operations professional within the Automotive/Manufacturing industry to join them as an Operations Director Industrial in their India office.

Purpose:
The Operations Director Industrial reports directly to the Managing Director India and is responsible for managing the operations of two plants in India. He/She would be in charge of optimizing performance, improving quality and ensuring minimal or no bottlenecking while adhering to high safety standards.

Qualification:
•    Bachelors/Masters of Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering/Operations Management and/or other relevant discipline

Experience & Technical Competencies:
•    Extensive significant years of operational experience in the Automation/Electronic/Manufacturing industry within MNC business environments
•    Proven track record demonstrating operational excellence and ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency
•    Knowledge of the Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing industry
•    Managerial experience in an operational, engineering, support or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
•    International exposure would be highly advantageous
•    Knowledgeable in SAP
•    Keen interest in field work and in business dimension of his/her work
