Job Description

Our client is a new start-up JV in the online shopping industry.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

To achieve sales target set for the team and develop new markets

Identify business leads for potential branded content Clients to meet the business objective and sales target

To build and manage key accounts/Clients

Conceptualize creative ideas based on brief from Client/Agency that fit into channel requirements

Resolve problems/issues between clients expectations on marketing their product

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

To Develop New Initiatives And Branded Content Products To Meet Sales Target

Build strong working relationship with channel providers and Client/Agency.

Conceptualize creative ideas based on brief from Client/Agency that fit into channel requirements.

Oversee the production development and manage the interaction between production/channels and Client/Agency

Review performance of the projects and campaigns for new contract renewals.

Manage team to achieve sales targets and meeting clients’ requirement

Brand

Act as brand guardian for Segment related communication

Ensure all customer communications & collateral are aligned to the Company brand values, tone and manner.

Continuously strengthen Company’s image and presence through strategic alliances.

Lead by example, live brand values and ensure that team exhibit values in their day to day conduct

Alignment Of Strategic Plan & Business Performance

To identify target segment and develop propositions to position products to the target segment.

To establish marketing segments and develop new markets

Assist in providing feedback in alignment of strategic plan and objectives with product and sales target

Develop and deliver overall Segment Strategy

Contribute strategic inputs on Company’s strategic plans and growth as well as Company’s Vision/Mission/Core Value.

Contribute to budgeted performance targets and improvements in the segment to achieve and exceed performance expectations

Ensure that sales, product, channel, service and risk management strategies, activities and investments are aligned to business requirements and achievement of business plan

Lead & drive cost management, deliver on efficiency drive targets and contribute to improvement of brand health and customer loyalty score

Oversee the day to day management of business

Customer Feedback

Manage key accounts/Clients

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Essential

Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or related fields

At least 8 to 10 years working in agency/advertising/ marketing with minimum 3 years in related working experience

Understand the working culture of Marketers/Advertisers, Creative Agencies and Media Agencies, generally, the business of selling ideas.

Deep understanding of audience as the content are very much driven and targeted to this segment.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia language both Spoken and written

Excellent in negotiation and communication skill as well as having Creative flair.

Presentation skills

Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office applications - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Planning and organising ¬ establishing priority systematically.

Problem solving skills

Collaborative Skills -offering own and accept the expertise of others to solve problems.

Preferred

Preferably 4 years in analyzing retail performance, consulting, forecasting, statisticians, or lecturing in similar field

Understanding of marketing and consumer behavior

Malaysians with good understanding of local consumer behaviour and culture

Innovative -ability to develop creative improvement to workflow or process to improve productivity.

Adaptability - able to adjust to variable approach to match varied task assigned
