Job Description
Our client is a leading company in building material industry in Indonesia. Our client has always been one of the key players in Indonesia in the building material for various housing, industrial and agricultural buildings applications.
The sales activities in Indonesia are operated through a well-established network of distributors. Our client is exporting its asbestos free building boards to many countries in Asia, such as to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and also to Europe and America.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Manage and expand our sales force in its ambition for geographical expansion in the areas of this position, force market penetration and establish a clear brand position for our dry construction solutions with professionals.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Team & performance
Lead, manage, motivate and coach the sales teams in West Java, DKI Jakarta, Sumatra and West Kalimantan
Implement, monitor and report on monthly bases the KPI and progress on the sales action plan for the retail and projects sales teams.
Assist to define and ensure the achievement of the annual KPI by the sales teams.
Select and recruit new sales team members for the area of activity.
Sales and market development
Drive the development of distribution structures for the company in the area of activity to support diffuse sales. These distribution structures are to be new and legally independent from any existing premium distributors established in other parts of Indonesia. The establishment of new diffuse sales channels is crucial to anticipate the new capacity which will be available in two years at the West Java green field operation.
Explore and position products in the professional application market. DKI Jakarta and other main cities in the area of activity demands a clear focus on specification work, addressing architects, consultants, engineers, contractors, applicators, developers and real estate owners.
Strategic
Provide input for the sales strategy, business plan, budget and marketing and sales plan for the company.
Establish action plans for new product introductions together with product management.
Observe report and advice on the market situation, competitors’ movements, and effectiveness of commercial action plans, sales opportunities and other assigned tasks. Steer regular price and market surveys for the area of activity.
Assess customer potential and establish clear development targets for key customers.

Having proven managerial experience of sales forces within multinational organizations
Having proven experience in building up new markets and diffuse sales channels
Having proven experience in specification work for professional channels in DKI Jakarta.
