POSITION DESCRIPTION

Our client provide natural pine-based materials to customers in many diverse markets including adhesives, roads & construction, tires & rubber, lubricants, fuel additives, and mining.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

•Ensuring that price and product strategies are consistent with broader market trends, by working with sales, customer visits, attending trade shows and independent study of the market through periodicals, websites, and networking.

•Reviewing and validating or revising sales forecast to reflect anticipated market changes

•Creating and maintaining market communication tools by publishing brochures, updating product data sheets, composing and placing advertisements, website postings, press releases, and coordinating tradeshow activities

•Building and maintaining the regional customer and competitive databases reflecting our understanding of the customer segmentation and our market share by working with sales, customer visits and keeping relationship with associations. Customer needs, market trend and supply/demand evaluation by analyzing market, customer and competitive databases

•Independent study to ensure SAP business reporting is updated accordingly

•Supporting Chemical Intermediates BU new product development/ new market penetration efforts through identifying relevant regional customers/customer’s customer, technical requirements, leading Blueprint interviews, supplying relevant benchmarking information and samples, coordination of customer trials, production of regional promotional literature, inventory planning, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

•Technical understanding of either Lubricity Improver or Oil Field Chemicals Market Segments, preferably related to the use of fatty acids

•Bachelor degree with minimum 5 years Initial Technical Experience followed by 3-5 years of commercial experience. Background in marketing or business, and technology (Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering). MBA is desirable but not a must

•Ability to research and analyze market dynamics

•Ability to navigate through ambiguity
