Job Description
Our client is an independent Health Facility Planning firm. They have been in the business for more than 20 years and are continuously growing in terms of projects and potential.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
To be in charge of the design, planning and execution of the project according to the needs of the client.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Exercise prudent practices to manage, safeguard and protect the businesses and assets of the Company.
Employ experience and business expertise to promote the growth and expansion of the business, provide input in the analysis of project opportunities.
Utilize creative and out of the box thinking for problem-solving with other team members.
Guide subordinate staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities.
Facilitate the Principal in enforcing goals, policies and procedures.
Exercise skill and care in carrying out contractual duties and obligations to clients to ensure projects are delivered with the highest quality, on time and within budget.
Update the Principal on project status and periodic claims.
Carry out assignments related to, but not limited to the following:
Master planning of health facilities
Feasibility studies of health facilities
Functional and medical planning for health facilities
Contract management and administration for construction of health facilities
Architectural and interior design consultancy for health facilities
All other job-related duties as assigned by Principal
Responsible for continuous self-development of technical skills and professional knowledge
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Health Planning, or equivalent work-related experience
At least 8 to 10 years of experience in architectural consultancy services preferably related to the planning and development of health facilities.
Familiar with legislations, regulations, by-laws and guidelines in relation to the health facilities planning as well as the building industry
Possesses design flair and knowledge in architectural principles, standards and practices
Knowledge of construction management standards and practices and construction techniques
Knowledge in drafting and presentation skills
Possess leadership quality, strong ideas, analytical skills and able to work independently.
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing
Good computer knowledge and understanding of CAD processes.
