POSITION SUMMARY

To lead the Tooth Brush material innovation, support the new product launch

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Assist Manager will report directly to Senior R&D Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

To lead the Tooth Brush material innovation, support the new product launch

Tracking the new material trends, new technology ,category insights related to material side, propose the innovation road map for current & future product portfolio;

Drive the key material strategy ,practical action plan and implementations;

Support the new product development, work with R&D, Marketing, and Engineering on resin proposal, developmental samples testing and Product specifications, and ensure our product performance;

Work with supplier, R&D and Global safety ,oversee the new material safety approval process, ensure to comply on all Company safety standard;

Support the raw material purchasing spec, supplier Coordination, and manufacture incoming quality key check points;

Assist on material related claim support data on new products;

Closely work with supplier & plant partners, ensure the material fits our manufacture equipment and engineering needs, Support the CI and Cost Saving opportunities.

Internal: R&D, Engineering, Marketing, Other manufacturing location, Claim track lawyers;

External: Material Supplier, Regulations, Labs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Major of macromolecule material or chemistry and engineering;

6 years or above, experience on material innovation work, familiar with molding and filament technology, work on Product development, R&D organization; 

Familiar with consumer insights based innovation; 

Good English reading and writing. Cross function understanding, capability & collaboration internal and external partners, Take initiative, drive innovations, knowing the external environment.
