Our Client is a world leader in the refractory products with EUR 500 million turnover, over 15 production sites in 16 countries with more than 25 country sales offices. They provide value-added refractory solutions by supplying the most comprehensive range of products for the steel, foundry, iron, aluminium, cement, thermal industries and petrochemical markets. Along with the materials, the company provides design, installation, maintenance, and repair service support as well. Due to business expansion within Indonesia, they are looking to invite a senior operations professional within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry to join them as an Operations Director in their Indonesian office.

Purpose:
The Operations Director Indonesia reports directly to both the Asia Pacific Business Unit General Manager and Operations Director South East Asia. He/She is fully responsible for the Indonesia operations in terms of EHS, production, technical support and supply chain. The Operations Director Indonesia would be in charge of setting performance objectives for these operations, in accordance with P&L targets, and to deliver them while adhering to high safety standards.
    
Qualification:
•    Masters/Bachelors in Metallurgy/Material Science/Industrial Engineering/Operations Management and/or other relevant discipline
•    MBA is preferable

Experience & Technical Competencies:
•    Significant number of years experience of P&L responsibility, or other key management positions
•    Strong operations background in manufacturing and/or production environment
•    Functional expertise in a variety of operational areas including but not limited to operations, supply chain/logistics, EHS and operational excellence
•    Experience in Indonesia and multinational companies particularly from Europe or
North America strongly preferred
•    Proven track record in implementing and developing a local team
•    Experience in sales is a plus
•    Proven capacity to build network of relationships
•    Good experience in high-value industrial products for B2B (refractory experience is a plus,
but not compulsory)

•    Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
